Do you feel a persistent sadness, hopelessness, or maybe even worthlessness?

Are you dealing with anxiety or panic that manifests into restlessness or constant worry making it difficult to concentrate, engage in conversation, or social interactions in general?

While all of these feelings are very real, the good news is two fold. First, you are not alone, not now, not ever, and if you will stick with me for just a minute I will SHOW you why.

Second, none of these negative feelings define you, your worth or your identity. Though this may be hard to accept or understand at this moment, those feelings are only temporary. With the dawn of each new day, and help from the “Wonderful Counselor”, you can soon dicard them and find genuine peace, through the Prince of Peace, and again in just a minute I will SHOW you how.

Often these negative and paralyzing feelings stem from violence and abuse which bring about depression, and anxiety. They can shatter an individuals trust in others leading to difficulties in forming and maintaining healthy relationships.

Maybe you find yourself going from one bad, even abusive relationship to another. Or perhaps you struggle with intimacy, or fear of abandonment to the point you have difficulty setting healthy boundaries for yourself and others.

Worse yet, in order to cope with emotional pain many individuals turn to substance abuse or engage in self-destructive behaviors. But substance abuse of any kind will only exacerbate emotional issues and lead to a vicious cycle of addiction that takes recovery and healing to another level.

Further, self-destructive behaviors such as self-inflicting harm or risky behavior intentionally temping death, provide only temporary relief and do further damage to one’s emotional not to mention physical well-being. Understand every life, that includes your life, has meaning and a purpose, you just haven’t discovered it yet.

In conclusion, I said I will show that you’re not alone and also how to find peace, but first a I want to ask you a “where the rubber meets the road” question;

The question, isn’t if are you ready for the answer because I’m sure on a surface level like most people, you’ve been searching for it. But the question is, are you genuinely ready for the truth?

You see some truths are sweet, but other truths can be bitter pills hard to swallow. Speaking of, the first and very basic bitter truth is, that “Psychoactive” substances and self harm are never the solution or the answer.

The next truth is very sweet! That is, that you have, upon your heartfelt request, the most Wonderful Counselor ready and willing to help you, to rescue you from your past hurt and all of your fears, if you will let Him.

So today whether you have, or have not already heard, you have access to this Wonderful Counselor, if you will open your heart and open your mind, you will not only learn where to can find comfort, solice and peace, but you can feel the power of the Prince of Peace, feel His healing begin!

Introducing, the Prince of Peace!

“The Lord is close to the Brokenhearted, and He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18

In this verse of the Bible, God reminds us that he is near, to those, near to you in your time of hurt, and all you have to do is call upon Him. He offers you healing and salvation.

He is our loving Father;
He said, “so do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

God will be with you even in your darkest moments and He will provide you the strength and support (your Wonderful Counselor), that you need to overcome your pain. The “Prince of Peace”.

However, as with all crossroads that we come to in life, a decision must be made. Turning from old habits and old mindsets to learn new behaviors and positive beliefs about ourselves is not easy at first, but continuing in a self harming self defeating direction only leads to distruction, it is most assuredly a dead end direction, but that also is a decision.

Some relief can come from positive therapy and professional counseling, but true long lasting internal healing and genuine peace “beyond all understanding”, can only come from turning one direction, that is toward the Prince of Peace.

There is a starting point to any journey, and the first step in heading a new direction is often the hardest. But if you feel tired, broken, used up, and you are ready to reach out your hand, and open your heart to your “Wonderful Counselor”, our creator and loving Father. To take the hand of His son and our Savior Jesus Christ, He is there waiting! “He is our refuge and strength an everlasting present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1

God has a Greater plan for you, “Plans to give you hope and a future.” those are His words in Jeremiah 29:11, not mine!
Jesus also said in Mathew 11:28, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Embrace my instruction and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my weight is easy and my burden is light.”
